What shows on your profile
If you sign in with 9Chain.com, your forum profile shows your LOVE9 Points under Points by source, on the line 9Chain.com · LOVE9 Points earned: the total you have earned on 9Chain.com, and the date it was last updated. It is a total earned, not a balance. It is updated when you sign in to the forum with 9Chain.com.
How to disconnect 9Chain.com from your forum account
- Set a forum password first. If you joined with the 9Chain.com button, your forum account has no password yet, and the forum will not let you remove your only way to sign in. Go to Preferences → Security and set a password. The forum sends the link to the email address of your forum account.
- Go to Preferences → Account, find 9Chain.com under associated accounts, and remove it.
- From now on, sign in with your email and forum password.
What stays after you disconnect
The last LOVE9 Points figure sent by 9Chain.com stays on your forum profile. You cannot remove it yourself.
To have it removed, email support@9chain.com from the email address of your forum account, and give your forum username. Forum staff remove it within 7 days.
If you connect 9Chain.com again and sign in with it, the figure shows again.
If you delete your 9Chain.com account
If your forum account is still connected when you delete your 9Chain.com account, the forum account is anonymised and the figure is removed.
If you disconnected first and then delete your 9Chain.com account, the forum has no link left to follow: your forum account stays as it is, and the figure stays until you ask for its removal by email as above.
